To Violate, Tailgate Mouth
2007
c-print, life-sized Real Doll made in artist's exact likeness
30 inches x 40 inches
"To Violate, Tailgate Mouth" depicts the my having abandoned my identical RealDoll during a rowdy Chicago tailgate party. In each of my performances I allowed strangers to explore Amber Doll's materiality and sexual availability-often violently-without stepping in. The possibility of peril combined with my lack of intervention pushed the limits of the social codes of each space.
